 BEAN BROWNIES RECIPE (gluten free)


These super healthy bean brownies are the ultra fudgy and chocolate treat.


Cook Time

25 minutes 


Ingredients

250 g cannellini beans (drained and rinsed very well) 

20 g cocoa powder 

40 g oat flakes

 1/4 tsp salt

90 g brown sugar (or maple syrup, honey, or agave)  

60 g vegetable oil 

1/2 tsp baking powder

60 g chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate) 

60 g nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, cashews)


Instructions


Preheat oven to 180 °C. 

Combine all ingredients, except chocolate and nuts, in a good food processor, and blend until completely smooth. Stir in the chocolate and the nuts, then pour into a greased 15×15 cm. Optional: sprinkle extra chocolate over the top. Cook the black bean brownies 25 minutes, then let cool at least 10 minutes before trying to cut. 

Makes 9-12 brownies (cut into rectangles).
